What happened
The IT arms of Rosatom (Russia's state nuclear corporation) have built and presented Kognitron, a platform for creating and training corporate AI agents. It falls into the low-code/no-code category, meaning digital assistants can be configured in natural language, with no code to write. That lets employees without programming skills create and manage AI agents for a range of business tasks. In May 2026 Kognitron was formally added to the Russian software registry, which clears the way for wide adoption in the public sector and at critical information infrastructure facilities.
Kognitron is multimodal, handling not only text but also images, audio and video. The platform supports continuous AI training based on the experience and knowledge of specialists, plus intelligent data processing including smart search and document ranking. Ready-made templates for typical tasks — intelligent document search, equipment maintenance, technical support and risk analysis — simplify rollout.
