What it is and why
SMMplanner and Publer are social media schedulers: you write posts in advance and they go out on a schedule to many platforms from one window. SMMplanner is a Russian service billed in rubles, tuned for VK/Telegram/Odnoklassniki and others. Reach for them when you run several channels and want to prepare content in batches instead of sitting with your phone "by the clock".
How to set it up (step by step)
- Sign up. SMMplanner (smmplanner.com, rubles) for Russian platforms, or Publer for international ones. Both have free plans.
- Connect your accounts (VK, a Telegram channel, Odnoklassniki and others) via login or a token. Some platforms need a bot token or a workaround.
- Create a post. Text, media (photo/video/carousel), links. The preview shows how the post will look on each platform.
- Schedule the time. Pick a date and time, or drop it into a queue that follows a preset posting grid.
- Multiposting. One post → tick several platforms → it publishes everywhere (adapted to each platform's format).
- Content plan. The calendar shows the whole publishing grid, so gaps and overlaps are visible.
- Auto-posting from a source (where supported): RSS/Telegram → automatic reposting by rule.
- Analytics. Look at reach and engagement after the fact, then adjust timing and topics.
Ready-made recipe
A week of content in one sitting: you produce 7 posts and 7 Shorts (clipped with Opus Clip) → upload them to SMMplanner → lay them out on the grid (weekdays at 10:00 and 19:00) across VK + Telegram + Odnoklassniki at once → the calendar confirms the week is covered with no gaps → a week later the analytics show evening posts perform better → you shift the grid. One hour of planning = a week of presence in every channel.
What it costs (honestly)
How it works: a free plan with a limit on posts and accounts. Paid plans give you more accounts, more posts, auto-posting and analytics; SMMplanner charges in rubles. Exact prices and limits are on the services' sites and they change.
When it fits / when it doesn't
- Fits: several channels; you want to prepare content in batches ahead of time; you need a content plan and calendar; you post to Russian platforms (SMMplanner) or international ones (Publer).
- Doesn't fit: you have one channel and post manually on the fly; you need a guarantee that a platform integration will never break (APIs change); your platform simply is not supported.
Risks and responsibility
Integrations sometimes break when a platform changes its API — keep a buffer and check that the posts actually went out. Connecting through tokens or workarounds means you must respect the platforms' rules. If the posts are ads (paid promotion or advertising someone else's product), ORD labelling is mandatory. Collecting subscribers or contacts through posts means consent for personal data (152-FZ). See the section disclaimer.
🤖 Prompt helper
You are an SMM planner. My channels are: {which platforms}, my niche is "{niche}". Help me: (1) build a weekly posting grid (days and times that suit my audience); (2) create a content rubric list (which post types to alternate); (3) adapt one post for different platforms; (4) decide what to track in analytics to keep improving. Give me a ready plan for the week.
