pptx (PowerPoint)

What it does

A skill for PowerPoint (.pptx) decks: creating pitch decks and presentations, reading and extracting text, editing existing files, working with layouts, speaker notes and comments, merging and splitting decks — with design validation along the way. A pre-built Anthropic skill.

How to set it up

• claude.ai / Claude API — pre-built (skill_id pptx in container).
• Claude Code — via the document-skills bundle:

/plugin install document-skills@anthropic-agent-skills

When to reach for it

• You need a deck (pitch, report, review) as a real .pptx, not a stack of images.
• You need to pull text out of someone else's presentation or rebuild it.
• A template with brand layouts and speaker notes.

Example

"Build a 10-slide investor pitch from this text" — you get an editable .pptx with layouts and notes that opens in PowerPoint or Keynote.
