When to use it
When you're launching ads and don't know which angle will land — you need several hypotheses to test, not one piece of copy. The role is performance marketer. Result: 5 ads, each with its own angle and a testable hypothesis.
The prompt (copy and paste)
You are a performance marketer. Write 5 ads for one product, each built on a different angle.
PRODUCT: "<PASTE>". AUDIENCE: <who>. PLATFORM: <Reels / Telegram Ads / VK>.
Angles (one ad each): 1) pain/solution; 2) benefit in numbers; 3) against a stereotype; 4) a "before → after" story; 5) direct offer.
Each ad: a hook first line · 2-3 sentences · 1 CTA. Fit the platform's format.
Don't promise results the product doesn't deliver. Under each ad, state which hypothesis it tests.
Filled-in example
Product: a habit-tracking app. Audience: 25-40, the "I'll start on Monday" crowd. Platform: Reels.
What the AI should return: #1 (pain) "Quit on day three again? It's not about willpower"; #2 (numbers) "87% of our users hit 30 days — here's how"; #3 (stereotype) "Forget motivation. You need a system"; #4 (story) "A year ago I couldn't last a week. Now it's 200 days straight"; #5 (offer) "Download free, first habit set up in 2 minutes". Under each — the hypothesis ("#2 tests whether social proof with a number hooks people").
Variations
- More angles. "Give me 10 ads, 2 per angle" — a wider spread to test.
- One angle in depth. "5 variants of the pain/solution angle only, each with a different pain."
- Creative brief. "For each ad, describe the Reels visuals that go with the copy."
Pro tips
- Test one variable at a time: if you change both the copy and the image, you won't know what worked. One angle = one hypothesis.
- Advertising law: no guaranteed results, no "best/#1" without proof, no third-party logos without rights. "Don't promise what isn't there" in the prompt is partly about avoiding fines.
- The AI generates hypotheses, the market picks the winner: launch all 5, kill the weak ones by CTR/CPA after 3-5 days, then build a fresh batch of variations off the winner.
