What it is and why
Bot builders (SaleBot, BotHelp, Puzzlebot) let you assemble a funnel bot, broadcasts and a mini CRM with no code: auto-replies, scripted dialogues, quizzes, sales, segmented broadcasts. These are Russian services billed in rubles. Reach for them when you need a smart bot for lead generation and sales in Telegram (and other messengers) — a flow you can click together in an evening without a developer.
How to set it up (step by step)
- Create the bot through the official @BotFather (the only right way — you get the token). That bot is yours.
- Sign up for a builder (SaleBot/BotHelp/Puzzlebot) and connect the bot with its token.
- Assemble the flow in the visual editor: message blocks, buttons, conditions, data capture, branching.
- Entry points. A link to the bot (deep link) in ads and posts → pressing start counts as subscribing (consent).
- Automated funnel or quiz: welcome → qualification → warm-up → offer. The logic follows the answers.
- Mini CRM. Leads are kept inside with tags and statuses; subscribers get segmented.
- Broadcasts by segment (with consent and relevant — Telegram's antispam is watching).
- Integrations: payments, amoCRM/Bitrix24, Google Sheets, n8n via webhooks.
Ready-made recipe
A "quiz → offer → payment" funnel bot: ads lead into the bot → start (consent) → the bot asks 3-4 questions (qualification) → it segments by the answers → hot leads get the offer plus a payment button right away (Tribute/YuKassa), the rest go into a warm-up sequence → payment triggers access provisioning (through n8n) → the lead with their quiz answers lands in amoCRM. A full sales funnel in Telegram, no code.
What it costs (honestly)
How it works: there are free allowances, and beyond them you pay per subscriber and per message, in rubles (that is the main price driver). Exact figures depend on the specific builder and they change.
When it fits / when it doesn't
- Fits: you need a selling bot funnel, quiz or broadcast without code; a mini CRM; lead generation in Telegram; a Russian service billed in rubles.
- Doesn't fit: you need a fully custom bot with complex logic (that means development); you need a deep, full-blown CRM (amoCRM/Bitrix24); your audience has not consented to broadcasts.
Risks and responsibility (Telegram specifics)
- Create the bot ONLY through the official @BotFather — never through dubious "token generators" (your bot can be stolen).
- Broadcast only with consent (pressing start on the bot is that consent) and respect Telegram's antispam rules (frequency, relevance) or the bot gets banned. Never add people by force.
- The builder service stores your customers' data (contacts, quiz answers) — check its processing and retention policy; this is personal data (152-FZ) and requires consent to process.
- The plan price grows with your subscriber count — keep an eye on the spend.
